From the Hot Melt family

Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA’s) are a form of Hot Melt adhesives. Hot Melt glue is used for PSA’s because of it is:

• solvent-free
• applied at temperatures ranging from 120-180 degrees Celsius
• available in block or chicklet form
• flexible
  • PSA Hot Melts remain especially soft and tacky after drying so they can adhere to surfaces when pressure is applied.

… And from the Water-Based Family

Our PSA’s also come as water-based adhesives for permanent or removable applications.  The adhesive changes slightly in its functioning and application qualities depending on the base. Pressure sensitive adhesives that are water-based require a drying or absorption process to occur in order for the glue to function. When this does occur, however, the bond is extremely strong and it is resistant to heat and moisture.
