EVA Based Hot Melts

Very versatile hot melts that can be used in a wide variety of applications such as Bookbinding, packaging, woodworking and general product assembly.

Application Temperatures: 250-375°F
Viscosities (@350°F): 1000cps-5000cps
Set speeds: 1 second-15 seconds
Form: Chiclets, Drums (bulk unloader)
Packaging: 50Lb/22.7KG boxes

SIS, SBS and rubber-SEBS based (Pressure sensitive) Hot Melts

Pressure sensitive hot melts exhibit excellent flexibility at low temperatures because they do not solidify to form a solid material. They therefore remain tacky. A bond is created by applying pressure to the bonded materials. These hot melts are applied and mated after the adhesive has cooled or while the adhesive is still hot. Typical applications include bookbinding, Hygiene products, packaging, product assembly, credit card and mailers (fugitive and remoistenable) application.

Application Temperatures: 325-375°F
Viscosities (@350°F): 400cps – 9000cps
Set speeds: Not applicable
Open time: >2 minutes
Form: Block-in trays, chicklets
Packaging: 50LB/22.7KG Boxes

APAO based Hot Melts

APAO adhesives are used where an application requires good heat, acid or fuel resistance. APAOs are non-crystalline adhesives that remain flexible and tacky, giving longer open times and good adhesion. Typical applications include product assembly, packaging, hygiene products and wood working.

Application Temperatures: 325-375°F
Viscosities (@350°F): 900cps – 9000cps
Set speeds: Not applicable
Open time: >2 minutes
Form: Block-in trays, chicklets
Packaging: 50LB/22.7KG Boxes
